Wellesley College Benches (Collaboration)
Students in my Wellesley College course Spatial Investigations used wood from fallen trees on campus, to build benches, in a self directed design assignment. This seating was then be placed within the campus landscape. The project allowed students to create something with upcycled materials from the landscape while responding and relating back to it. It was created with help from the Wellesley College grounds crew in conjunction with the Wellesley College Paulson Initiative of Place.
